Taxonomy Subterms is a simple module to force display nodes belonging to the current term or/and the children of the current term.
Taxonomy subterms makes use of the exact same page callback of the default taxonomy terms page (or the one you put in place).
The module just add the depth param with an 'all' value to the original arguments and pass them to the "normal" page callback.
